Rebecca Holt is our resident provisional Psychologist, with over 9 years of experience in the field. After receiving her Bachelor of Psychology at the University of Western Sydney in 2014, Rebecca dove headfirst into practice.
Her expertise covers a wide range of age demographics, having worked with children, adolescents and adults. Her work with children and adolescents is especially significant, as she went on to work within the Department of Education, specialising in Autism support.
As a part of her work with these groups, Rebecca also specialises in helping overcome numerous struggles including ADHD, anxiety, aggression and more. She uses Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Animal-Assisted Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (CBT), and Play Therapy as well as numerous social skills and self-confidence-building intervention techniques for children.
For as long as she could remember, working with children had always been a passion of Rebecca’s. After having become a mother, Rebecca continued to pursue her passion, now with added incentive. With newfound perspective, Rebecca continues to bring a nurturing and informed perspective to her work, offering immeasurable benefits for her beloved patients.
