How do you want to pay?

Most commonly people wish to pay through Medicare and often focus solely on Bulk-billing but there are many ways to access psychology services

Paying privately
  • This includes simply paying for the session yourself or claiming through your private health insurance after the appointment. This can actually be a faster, cheaper way to access services that many people don’t consider!
  • Gap payment from $85
Medicare psychology
  • The Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) is a very common way of paying, this entitles you to a certain number of Medicare rebated sessions as directed by your GP
  • Gap Payment: from $96.75
National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Counselling
  • Depending on what is stipulated in the NDIS plan and how it is managed, you could also be eligible to use your NDIS funds to pay for you psychology sessions.
